The Story
It started at 15 — pulling his brother and sister's bookshelf stereo into the living room, hooking it up to the family Curtis Mathis TV, and figuring out how to mix songs manually. No gear. No guide. Just curiosity and music.
By his 20s he'd built something real — Technics 1200s, a Vestax 6-track, a Mackie mixer, a Boss 550 drum machine, and over 3,000 records. Then life happened. A broken-into storage unit took it all. A single father with no time or funds to rebuild, he walked away.
25 years later, helping his son set up as a streamer, he caught a DJ Jazzy Jeff stream. Everything came rushing back. DJ Qbert. The Beat Junkies. Scratch Bastid. The legends he'd grown up watching.
So at 54, he renewed the journey.
Now streaming Saturday nights on Kick — taking live chat requests, weaving them into the mix in real time, and diving into live mashups on the spot. No other DJ does it quite this way.
